Svema LN-9 // Свема ЛН-9

I think you may need to see some photos to convince you that Svema LN-9 shall have a filter named after it on Instagram.

LN stands for Lampa Nakalivania (Лампа Накаливания), or tungsten light.

According to my old photo handbook, this Svema had originally sensitivity of GOST 100 (around ISO 100). Went on my balcony to test how time has had traveled for it:

My light meter suggested ISO 25 for this canister. Shot it without “warming” filter, pure light-to-silver, skin-on-skin-and-let-the-love-begin experience.

First field test confirmed no-filter sensitivity:

Then I used an equivalent of Kodak 85B filter only to find unvisioned colors from this emulsion:

After developing this roll I felt like I went a bit to The book of Eli way. Switched to normal yellow filter to get these:

I wrote another article here on Svema DS-5M — all technical aspects relate to LN-9, same development process, chemicals, steps, etc.

Time travel is hard. But Svema helps.

ЛН9 химией С41 не проявляется совсем, точнее серебро проявляется, а цвета нет вообще, сегодня буду проявлять по родному процессу.
